About Me

I’m Piper! My parents named me after my mom’s maiden name (not the TV show Charmed… sorry to disappoint). I grew up in the Lake Norman area—just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. At my preschool graduation, I confidently announced that I wanted to be a rockstar when I grew up.

Although I have retired my rockstar dreams, that was only the beginning of my love for performing. I did my first musical when I was 9 years old and was immediately hooked. For my birthday that year, I received tickets to my first professional show (the national tour of Cats). During the song Magical Mr. Mistoffelees, I caught a piece of confetti that I still have today. I was already completely certain that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Training and work ethic were important to me at a very young age and I was invested in learning as much as I could. Over the years, I began to analyze how stories were being told and became interested in directing and theatre management in addition to acting. I chose to pursue my collegiate education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia because I was able to explore all of my diverse interests—earning degrees in both Musical Theater and Directing, Playwriting, Production.

Outside of performing and directing, I’m also a big fan of fitness, matcha, light pink, skiing, peonies, and Taylor Swift!
